Popular American model, socialite and the step- daughter of celebrated comedian Steve Harvey, Lori Harvey has opened up about her relationship with actor boyfriend Michael B Jordan, gushing about how he won over her heart.
Allowing fans some insight on the blossoming courtship, Harvey revealed in an interview on ‘The Real’ daytime talk show earlier this week that her boyfriend has warmed up to her family, getting along perfectly with her mother, Marjorie Harvey.
“They are actually really close. They talk all the time, they hang out, they’ve gone out on their little lunch and dinner dates,” Harvey said.
She added; “He tells me ‘I just took your mom to dinner’ and I am like, oh, okay.”
Answering co-host Loni Love’s question as to what makes their love so special, Harvey gushed about her partner, saying “when you know, you know.”
“We have such a great time together. He’s so sweet, very attentive, he listens to me; you know, the things that I say I want and really makes an effort,” Harvey said.
Further, the model revealed that her boyfriend spoils her on the big days like Valentines Day and birthdays, adding, “But it’s the little things, the everyday things that makes him special.”
“The other day I mentioned to him that I really wanted to go to a farmer’s market, and one Sunday morning he called me, asked me what I was up to and said he’d pick me up. And he took me an hour away to this cute farmer’s market and we had the best day. It’s things like that,” Harvey said.

Harvey, who is adored by fans for her good looks and impeccable sense of style went public about dating the famous ‘Black Panther’ actor in January 2021, two months after they were first spotted together.
Before snagging Jordan, who was crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive, 2020, Harvey had been linked to other high profile personalities, including RnB singer Trey Songz and rapper Future.
“Back in June 2017, she was engaged to Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay, which Steve posted about on Instagram. But the pair reportedly split in 2018,” Elle magazine wrote in a piece about her dating history.
Earlier this year, her ex-boyfriend Future raised eyebrows when he threw some digs at her new relationship. In leaked lyrics from his song Maybach, the rapper mentioned Harvey and dissed Jordan.
“I’m the owner/Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her/Must have forgotten to tell her daddy she begged me not to leave,” the lyrics went in part.
Complex Magazine notes that the digs came after Steve Harvey said that he approves of Lori’s boyfriend this time around.
“I have tried not to like him,” Mr Harvey recently told Ellen DeGeneres on her show. “But this guy, is such a good guy. He is one of the nicest guys. I’ve met his father. I’ve sat up late with him, we’ve talked for hours. I just can’t find nothing wrong with him.”
