Controversial blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has been dealt a blow after his followers, particularly fellow men, failed to back his campaign.
The blogger says he opened a PayBill account to collect funds to support needy men after his followers demanded he gives the campaign a practical approach.

Well, the PayBill number remained operational for just over an hour and he was forced to close it after a handful of his followers sent Sh23, 836, if the screenshots he shared online are anything to go by.
According to Nyakundi, he was forced to close the fundraiser because of claims by a faction of his followers alleging that the campaign was turning into a pyramid-scheme.
In a rejoinder post, the blogger stated: “It is extremely demoralising working with a group of men, who pressure me to get a PayBill, then turn around and trash-talk it. I can’t be getting accusations of pyramid-schemes for such small amounts of money. In this regards, I’m discontinuing this project.”
Nyakundi’s campaign for the boy child has caused heatwaves on social media where his posts continue to receive mixed reception with a faction of netizens supporting his rather chauvinistic posts while others bash him for masquerading as an activist for the wellbeing of Kenyan men.
