Gospel minister Size 8 has featured Pombe singer Iyanii in her new album, ‘Gospel Anthem’.
In an interview with Mseto, Size 8 said what he currently sings did not stop her from working with him.
The ‘Songa’ hitmaker has however never heard Iyanii’s secular songs as she did not want her perspective of him to change.

She said that her first impression of the Pombe hitmaker was amazing.
“I asked my husband who this man was and he told me his name is Iyanii and he has the biggest secular song in the country at the moment and I was surprised because of how I saw him and what I saw in him,” she said.
“Then he told me that he has ever written a gospel song and I decided to work with him, we went to the studio and when he sang the song, everybody became emotional. He told me that was a song he wrote five years ago when he was deep in the word of God.”
Iyanii’s song with Size 8 is the first in her album.
“I heard the Lord tell me not to let that song disappear again. It’s the first song on my album. And I wanted that message to get out.”
Size 8’s album has featured the likes of gospel singer David Wonder, Peter Blessings, Pitson among others.
