The casket carrying the body of the late senior assistant inspector general Ezekiel Mwita was today received at the embakasi police unit where the funeral mass of the late was happening.
The body was received by the senior government official, who included the principal secretary in the ministry of interior and national coordination Raymond omolo, together with other senior officials from the police unit.
According to the update by the principle secretary he revealed that the police service in the country has indeed lost a vibrant and dedicated team member who will be missed by a majority of this senior police and the police department.
The family friends and relatives of the late today accompanying a wife and children of the late Ezekiel Mwita who has been eulogized as a man who fought to ensure that the force was organized.
He is expected to be laid to rest in coming days at his ancestral home with several top officials from the police and government expected to attend.
