Latest reports indicates that tourists are now stranded within Maasai Mara Game Reserve following floodings.

As reported by KTN news, several Businesses including camps, lodges and hotels are submerge after Telek River burst it’s banks.

“Several businesses including hotels, lodges and camps within the Maasai Mara Game Reserve submerged after Telek River burst its banks, tourists stranded, Chief Park Warden Stephen Minis says.

This comes a day after President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government ordered evacuation of kenyans living in sloppy areas to higher grounds.

It should be noted that the total number of kenyans who have lost their lives stands at over 170 with several yet to be found in Mai Mahiu.
