Maurine Kabu, the daughter of business mogul Simon Kabu, has reacted to recent reports that emerged that confirmed how most of the properties that he owned with his ex-wife Sarah Kabu alias Sarah Mtalii, were indeed under the daughter’s name.
This little-known piece of information was brought to light by Sarah Mtalii, in a recent interview that she had with comedian Dr. Ofweneke on his YouTube channel.
In the long interview, there was a moment when Dr. Ofweneke asked Sarah Kabu whether she felt like there was anything that she should take the blame for, since now her marriage with Simon Kabu had come to an end.
In her response, the Bonfire Adventures Managing Director revealed that she regretted how she trusted her husband so much, to the extend that she never followed up to see whose name was under the properties that they bought when they were still together.
In the interview, Sarah Kabu revealed how she was shocked to learn that most of the properties that she bought with Simon Kabu were actually under Maurine Kabu’s name (the daughter that he got in a previous relationship)

Hours after the interview went viral, Maurine Kabu has now taken to her social media platforms to seemingly react to the statements of her former stepmother Sarah Mtalii.
Taking to her Facebook account, she penned a message where she actually appreciated her father Simon Kabu for what he did, and how he has always mentored her.
“A good father will leave his imprint on his daughter for the rest of her life. Thank you Dad. Forever grateful” she said.
Simon Kabu also took to the comment section of Maurine Kabu’s post, and penned a message where he was clearly pleased by what she said.
The Bonfire Adventures CEO further told her daughter to always stay under his wings and follow his footsteps in life.
“Maurine Kabu My daughter….I will always mentor you and guide you all the time as long as I live. Make sure you continue following my footsteps and take good care of your siblings. I love you #thekabus” he said.
