In a video that has been making rounds on various social media pages, the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua decided to spill the beans on the events that took place at KICC during the Climate change Summit.

According to the Deputy President, the former Prime Minister who attended the Summit refused to sit in a reserved chair but chose to sit where the heads of state were sitting.

The Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua event went a head to state that he was given a chair close to him for the sake of respect. DP Rigathi Gachagua revealed that the Former Prime Minister even wanted to go to the room that was hosting the heads of State yet he was not a Head of State.

Reacting to the sentiments by the DP, Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has described the DP as one that does not sugar-coat anything and speaks the truth plainly as it is.

According to Mike Sonko, the words from the Deputy President are a clear indication that politics has a lot of things and truth may sometimes be bitter.

“Hayaaa ehhhh kumbe hii siasa iko na maneno hivi? HE D.P Rigathi Gachagua has no chills at all. No sugar coating.” Stated the former Governor through his tweet.
