In Vihiga County, Chavakali, in the morning, three men—a father and his two sons—were detained by the police officers after being caught transporting human flesh that was hidden inside the corton.
According to one of the reliable sources, Vuuka FM, it appears that the three suspects made an attempt to flee instantly after the officers stopped their car for analysis.
However, their attempt to flee was in vain since the officers were watchful and on standby, so they went ahead and ordered the three to open the boot of their car for a checkup.
After opening the boot, hands, legs, and ribs alleged to be from a human being were spaculated, and the three were taken to one of the police stations.
However, during the interogation, the three plead not guilty, disclosing that it was one of their friends who offered them a task to transport the cargo to the agreed-upon destination, and they didn’t infer what was inside.
The suspects are to be presented to Hamisi Law Court on Monday next week as the DCI turns on further investigations.
