Businesswoman Sheila Odoyo Wegesha was allegedly fatally murdered by her husband, Jack Bamboo, and her body was brought home to Kanyada for her funeral.
Wegesha’s distraught relatives assembled at the funeral home to take her body; her mother was sobbing and sobbing uncontrollably as she sang a lament.
Wegesha’s mother was helped by two people to transfer her body into a hearse, which signaled the start of her last trip home.
According to reports, the stunning mother was fatally murdered by her spouse, Jack Bamboo, at their Athi River home.
Following the event, Bamboo allegedly went into hiding, and the police have been pursuing him ever since his phone last pings in Narok.
The bereaved family of the deceased gathered at the funeral home ahead of her last voyage, preparing to carry her body. Wegesha’s mother wept bitterly, lamenting the difficulties she had raising her daughter.
She started crying and started singing a traditional burial song called “gueyo” while the body was being gently led into a hearse. She received assistance from two women throughout the time the body was being taken out of the funeral home.
Hundreds of Nairobians flocked to the Tena Grounds of Umoja estate to see the late Sheila’s body. Many of the individuals who had gathered to observe the body still had shocked and grieving expressions on their faces.
