Shatta Bwoy, a former entertainer at Radio Citizen, has openly discussed his decision to leave the radio station and his intentions regarding remarriage. Following the death of his wife in June 2023, Shatta shared that he is adjusting to life as a single parent to their two children.

In a candid interview on TV47, Shatta revealed that he resigned from his position at the Royal Media Company in search of a less demanding job that would allow him more time to spend with his children. He expressed the challenges of adjusting to his new reality, emphasizing the necessity of being present for his children during this transitional period.

Moreover, Shatta reflected on his relationship with his late wife, mentioning how he misses the everyday interactions they had, including lighthearted arguments over trivial matters such as social media activities.

Regarding his future in marriage, Shatta stated decisively that he has no plans to remarry. He explained that his primary reason for marriage was to have children, a milestone he has already achieved, and thus sees no reason to marry again.

In a touching gesture of remembrance, Shatta paid tribute to his wife during her funeral by cutting one of his signature dreadlocks and having it buried with her, honoring her memory and the support she had always given him.

Shatta’s story has elicited mixed reactions on social media, with some users expressing support and admiration for his resilience and others critiquing his views on marriage and family responsibilities.
