A tragic plane crash occurred in Ikanga, Voi, Taita Taveta County, on Saturday, March 8, when a light aircraft went down and caught fire.

Eyewitnesses reported that the aircraft, which had two occupants, plummeted to the ground before bursting into flames.

Reports indicate that both individuals, an aviation instructor and his student, died on the spot.

Emergency responders arrived at the crash site to extinguish the fire and conduct rescue operations.

However, the intensity of the blaze made it difficult to recover the wreckage immediately.
