The meeting, which took place late Monday evening, followed a series of engagements Gachagua had with other leaders from Mt. Kenya. Earlier on the same day, Gachagua convened consultations with former Members of Parliament and Members of County Assembly (MCAs) from the Mt. Kenya region to deliberate on the region’ s political pathways. Among the former MPs present were Peter Mwathi, Jude Njomo, Wainaina Jungle, Ngunjiri Wambugu, Gichuhi Mwangi, and Kabinga Wathayu. The discussions were aimed at analyzing their current political standing, reflecting on the journey thus far, and exploring options for the way forward.
