A senior State House official Patrick Mutahi Wairagu has died.

Mutahi lost his life through illness. However, the cause of his illness has not been made public.

Until his demise, he served as the Assistant Director of Library Services at the State House.

 

News of his untimely passing was received with shock by his family, colleagues and friends.

His family members described him as a lively and welcoming person who respected all people without boarders. Friends termed him as a person with so much light, passion, and generosity.

Kenyans on various social media platforms praised his kindness and joyful spirit. The country has lost a dedicated man who was committed to his work. His sacrifice in serving this great nation will be forever remembered.

Mutahi hails from Mukurwe-ini Central Ward, Thangathi Location, Kamumu Village. Burial preparations are ongoing at his home.
