Today it was business unusual in Kenya’s capital Nairobi after Azimio protesters stormed the streets of Nairobi to protest against the high cost of living and other injustices that Raila had claimed to have been conducted on him and the Azimio team.

The Azimio supporters gained access into the city as early as 5:00am but they faced serious rebellion by police officers who were already waiting for them. Despite the efforts by the police officers to deter them and numerous arrests made, the officers were outnumber by the protesters after Raila Odinga and his team walked out of Serena Hotels.

The Raila team snakes through Kamukunji, Eastleigh and finally in Mathare where he addressed his supporters. Raila yet again retaliated that Ruto must meet his demands or else protest will continue until William Ruto complies.

While Raila was protesting in the streets of Nairobi, William Ruto on the other hand was busy at State House Nairobi where he presided over the swearing in of Solicitor General Shadrack Mose.
