Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has extended a helping hand to the grieving mother of Dwayne Mungai, a Timba XO nightclub employee who passed away in January.
Mungai, a beloved staff member at the Eldoret-based club, was mourned by colleagues and friends in an emotional funeral service attended by Sudi. On Tuesday, January 28, Timba XO announced the tragic loss, describing Mungai as a valued team member and expressing their condolences to his family.
During the burial, Sudi made a heartfelt promise to Mungaiās mother, vowing to build her a three-bedroom house.
āYou will be my neighbour. I will build you a house so you can live well,ā he assured her, drawing cheers from mourners.
Recognising the financial struggles she faced after her clothing business collapsed, Sudi took further action. He called one of his aides, requested a stack of cash, and handed KSh 400,000 to Mungaiās mother.
