The lavish event was attended by Sarah Kabu, Simon Kabu and Betty Kyallo, and they were among the various celebrities who graced the memorable occasion.

Here is that photo that was taken at the event.

As mentioned above the photo elicited massive reactions online, and here are some of them.

Sarah Kabu breaks her silence
Just hours after the photo went viral, Sarah Kabu has broken her silence and finally addressed the matter.

Taking to her Instagram account, the Bonfire Adventures Managing Director said that the photo was misinterpreted, because she was not looking at Betty Kyallo with an evil eye.

According to Sarah, the photo was taken when she was deep in her thoughts, and therefore it was just a coincidence.

She further offered an apology to Betty Kyallo for how the photo had caused a stir online.

Sarah Kabu further addressed netizens who trolled her for how she dressed at Akothee’s wedding; those who claimed that her dress had a long slit and therefore showed too much skin.

According to her, if her hubby Simon Kabu was okay with her dressing, then no one should troll her for it.

“Wueeh I don’t understand why I’m trending…my mind was far hata jicho mbaya sikumbuki…Pole sana @bettymuteikyalo my mind ilkua mbali.

Halafu wedding ya madam boss @akotheekenya mnataka tuvae maxi ama jeans? Must husband was okay with the long slit so ndigithiai ngoma” she wrote.
