Kikuyu Benga star Sam Muchoki popularly known as Samidoh has concluded his month-long US tour and is back home.
Samidoh, who shared a video of his numerous fans based in America seeing him off at the airport, made a stopover in Dubai, where he took time to visit ailing Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.
The singer, in the company of a few friends, also gifted the legislator with a ‘quick recovery’ personal branded T-shirt.
The lawmaker is recuperating in a Dubai hospital after undergoing a stem cell transplant. Kuria had suffered burns after an electric blanket he was using to warm his feet exploded.
Coincidentally, before his scheduled trip to the US, Samidoh himself had an incident that saw him fracture his foot almost threatening his tour.
“I fell offstage at a concert in Mwea but I’m glad my doctors were able to fix a cast that enabled me to walk with ease until I healed,” he says.
Samidoh, who toured the states for the first time said he is eager to be back. “The love from my fans in the US is enormous. I definitely will be looking forward to going back only this time I will make sure I don’t tour during winter. That freezing weather is almost intolerable.”
The benga star is lined up to headline a mega mugithi homecoming party on the 24th alongside his counterpart Jose Gatutura at Marlin resort in Naivasha.
