Safaricom has this afternoon made an announcement regarding their services which will affect all of their customers on Sunday as per the reports that we have with us.

The company has made the announcement just moments ago urging its customers to prepare for the disruption that will be on for an hour on Sunday the 11th of June.

This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from Safaricom, the services that will be unavailable during this time will be MPESA which is used by tens of millions of Kenyans.

The disruption of the services will be due to Network Maintenance on Safaricom as per the reports that we have with us from the company this afternoon.

Lipa Na Mpesa will be just one of the services that will be unavailable tomorrow as per the reports that we have with us from the Safaricom Headquarters.

The MPESA app and the Safaricom App services will also be unavailable at this time when Safaricom carries out the network maintenance.

The services that will be disrupted will only be for an hour which will be between 11PM on Sunday June the 8th to 11:59PM as per the reports that are with us from the company.

Kenyans have been urged to make due arrangements for the disruption of the service that will be ongoing at the time when Safaricom will carry out Network Maintenance.
