News just in indicates that President William Ruto’s CS has met university student leaders just moments after some were arrested in Nairobi.
According to the information shared by ICT CS Eliud Owalo, he has had a meeting with university student leaders drawn from Nyanza region at his home in Asembo, Siaya County.
According to the information shared by the CS, the meeting focussed on the opportunities available for university students and other youth in the digital gig economy.
“I have this afternoon held very promising discussions, at our Asembo home, with student leaders from all universities domiciled in Nyanza.We focused on the opportunities available for university students and other youth in the digital gig economy.” CS Owalo said.
His meeting with the Nyanza university student leaders comes only moments after other university student leaders were arrested in Nairobi while addressing a press conference at Chester House by the police before being taken to central police station.
