President William Ruto has been dealt a huge blow after the controller of budget (CoB) Margaret Nyakang’o rejected a request of sh1.1 billion that had been made by state house.

State house has made the request with the intention of building a modern presidential dias.

It is reported that sh700 million was meant to construct the dias while the remaining sh400 million was supposed to cater for buying new motor vehicles for the president.

The controller of budget asko rejected a sh361 request which had been requested by the executive office of the president.
Sh211 million was meant to cater for the settlement of outstanding contractual obligations for the construction of the Small claims court.

The remaining sh150 million was to facilitate activities under the office of the government spokesperson.

President Ruto is currently out of the country. He left on Sunday evening for Seoul, South Korea for the African summit where he is expected to have sign bilateral agreements.
