Head of state President William Ruto has been escorted to the parliament by 8 police motorbikes, 6 cars and chase cars sparking reactions from Kenyans.
The chase cars took the centre lead and immediately, 8 police motorbikes followed closely. 6 others cars then sandwiched the car in which the head of state was being carried.
This was coming only hours after the president made an impromptu visit in Ruiru to inspect the ongoing affordable housing project. In the visit, the head of state was only driven in one car.
Activist Boniface Mwangi called this is a propaganda by the government that has been led by Dennis Itumbi.
“So Ruto went to Ruiru in one car, no escort, that’s 25 kilometres from Statehouse in one car. However, from Statehouse to Parliament, a distance of 3 kilometres he needed 8 outriders and 6 cars. That’s minus the lead chase cars. Dennis Itumbi keep the PR consistent.” Boniface Mwangi said.
