Political blogger and Jubilee party deputy organising Secretary Pauline Njoroge has weighed in about president Ruto’s ability to beat the late former president Mwai Kibaki and former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s track record in improving the road network in Mt Kenya.

The blogger who is aligned to the Azimio la Umoja coalition and recently earned the honour of being appointed as the deputy organising secretary in the Jubilee party during the recent National Delegates Conference made the statements on her Facebook page.

Njoroge is seemingly a critic of president Ruto as she criticises the president through her posts. She states that the late former president Mwai Kibaki gave Mt Kenya the dual carriage from Nairobi to Thika as it opened up the region for rapid growth.

She also stated that former president Uhuru Kenyatta built the dual carriage from Kenol to Karua and the project would open the Mt Kenya region to massive investments. She then questioned what President Ruto would deliver similar projects for the Mt Kenya region with his latest political moves.

“In Central Kenya, Kibaki gave us a dual carriage from Nairobi to Thika at it opened up the region to rapid growth. Uhuru gave us a dual carriage from Kenol to Marua, and this will open up the region to massive investments. Actually, the 84 KM Kenol-Marua road is the longest dual carriage way. It means one can travel from Nyeri to JKIA without meeting oncoming traffic. What will the president deliver to Mt Kenya in terms of a major road network compared to the two former leaders,” she stated.
