Just days after celebrated Kenyan journalist Victoria Rubadiri left Citizen TV, she has already began her new job at the Cable News Network (CNN).

Her first day at work was infact on the 1st of May 2024, and this was confirmed by the award-winning journalist via a post on her Instagram stories.

Victoria Rubadiri actually shared a short video clip where she was seen being warmly welcomed at CNN by renowned journalist Eleni Giokos, who is an anchor of the show Connecting Africa and Market Place Middle East.

Eleni Giokos was actually the one who took a video of them together while at one of CNN studios in Abu Dhabi shooting a promo.

What was clear is that the former indeed welcomed the latter in style, as she will literally be her new colleague for the show Connecting Africa, as well as being the station’s correspondent based in Nairobi

On her part, Victoria Rubadiri was also excited for the new opportunity and also over the moon to join a great team.

According to some reliable sources, Victoria Rubadiri actually left Citizen TV a week ago after serving her notice.

To celebrate her time at the Royal Media Services-owned station, it is reported that the staff and fellow colleagues cut a cake for the talented journalist just as a special way to bid her farewell.

Before Victoria Rubadiri left Citizen TV, she had worked there for six years.

The mother of one used to anchor the ‘Citizen Weekend’ on Saturdays and also ‘Sunday Live’ alongside Jeff Koinange on Sundays.

The talented journalist had also worked for awhile at NTV before she joined Citizen TV, and therefore she is one of those news anchors who have enjoyed an illustrious career in the media industry.
