Osinde went missing on June 18 before the body was found in the Kamagambo area, Rongo Sub-County, Migori County, on June 22.

Former Treasury employee Tom Osinde’s house was tampered with, Rongai Sub-County Criminal Investigations Officer Donatta Atieno has revealed.

A family member identified the body on Wednesday night, June 28 according toMigori Commander Peter Kimani.

Addressing the media on Friday, June 30, Atieno indicated that two light switches at Osinde’s home in Ngata Estate, Nakuru County, had been meddled with.

The body of Osinde, the brother to the late Chief of Staff at the office of Deputy President Ken Osinde, was fished out of River Kuja in Kamagambo, Migori.

The DCIO explained that the police were still investigating whether the switches, located on the upper floor of the house within the 10-acre home, were interfered with before or after his disappearance.

Two suspects, Julius Mogoi and Mugo Gathii, both employees at Osinde’s farm, have been arrested following the discovery of crucial evidence.
