Denis Lokassa Kasiya, often known as Lokassa ya Mbongo, was a well-known Congolese guitarist and performer. He contributed significantly to the creation of soukous music, a genre that developed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Lokassa ya Mbongo’s distinct guitar style and dexterity gained him a prominent place in the African music scene. Lokassa ya Mbongo died several years ago, but his funeral has not yet taken place.
According to the source, the family of Denis Lokassa has broken the silence and revealed the total amount of money they are asking the government for so as to help them burry their kin. As per the latest updates shared by a well-known source this hour and at the same time circulating on social media, it has been revealed that Denis Lokassa’s son, who has been identified as Andre Marie Lokassa, has confirmed that the family is asking for Ksh 11.1 million from the government that will help the family to burry their father. Also, he has added that the government has not yet released the said amount of money, and still, the body of his father is lying in the morgue.
This just came in after the musician’s body was flown to Congo after he passed away a few years ago after battling with diabetes. Let us come together and pray for the family during this difficult time. Let us hope that the family will be able to solve the issues and bury him.
