Lately, cases of mysterious killings have been on the rise in many parts of the Republic of Kenya.

In the most recent incident, Molo Constituency has been rocked by shock and sorrow following the discovery of local farmer Gilbert Kihiko Njagwa’s body.

The deceased was found dead and naked near the banks of the River Molo, with signs of severe torture, igniting fear and mourning among residents.

Njagwa, a respected figure in the community known for his dedication to agriculture, was discovered with visible injuries, suggesting he had endured a brutal ordeal.

The harrowing scene has cast a grim shadow over the neighbourhood, raising serious concerns about escalating violence in the region.

Local residents are grappling with the tragedy. Oscar Ombweli, a community member, noted that tire tracks around the river indicated that Njagwa may have been killed elsewhere before his body was discarded in the river.

This observation has fuelled concerns about the increasing lawlessness in the area.

The community is calling for urgent intervention from local authorities. Residents, including Jane Wanjiku, have expressed their growing anxiety about safety, urging Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika to address the rising violence.
