Popular Kikuyu comedian Ole Shomore has thrown into mourning following the death of his wife.
Ole Shomore, who is also a gospel musician under the stage name Mucirira Wa Keyboard, disclosed that his wife identified as Mama Joy passed on after a short illness.
In a Facebook post, the comedian said the ongoing strike by health practitioners cost his wife’s life saying if she received urgent medical attention she could be alive.
He cursed the striking doctors saying they will pay for the lives which have been lost due to their industrial action.
Ole Shomore went further to announce that burial preparations meetings are ongoing at Turracco Village restaurant situated at Kenyatta Road along Thika Super Highway.
The burial ceremony for Mama Joy will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, at St Rita Girls High School in Gatundu South and thereafter her remains will be interned at her home near the institution.
Ole Shomore is part of the cast of popular comedy series Njungwa Ya Muthee Kihenjo which is produced and directed by veteran comedian Muthee Kihenjo.
