While in court, challenging his impeachment, the former deputy president received another disturbing message from the Kisumu residents, who vowed to stage a protest tomorrow morning if he will not appear live on media, naming the hotel and the people who he alleged were tempted to slewed him by poison.

In a statement they made, Kisumu residents criticized Rigathi Gachagua, letting out he is setting chaos between Nyanza and Central people by alleging they attempted to kill him.

“The same way you appeared live on media, saying goons in Kisumu wanted to kill you, we want you to repeat the exact by naming the people who were involved in your assassination attempt, and if you cease, we will storm the streets tomorrow and chant for your arrest,” a resident said.

Residents added that they will not allow the former DP to break their relations with other tribes, narrating they will move towards Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah and report the matter to him so he may decide what to do next.

“This is a serious case; we will appoint two or more people to drive to Nairobi, glance for Ichung’wah, and let him know about the matter because he is our director, as Nyanza people and all tribes in the country are relying on him for advice and judgement,” another resident said.

Kisumu residents further asserted that soon they will insist all Kenyans write a letter to President Ruto to promote Ichung’wah for a top government position; however, they didn’t reveal the reason why they are praising him.
