Rigathi Gachagua has met Kimani Ichungwah’s potential competitor for 2027. Kigathe was arrested after being accused of sponsoring youth to burn down Kikuyu constituency NG-CDF offices. He was later released in the middle of last year.
Gachagua met with Kigathe Kionywe from Kiambu County this morning. According to Gachagua, Mr. Kigathe is a well-known businessman who supports a range of social causes, particularly in the Kikuyu Constituency.
The former DP added that the consultations are still ongoing and that it was fascinating to hear his opinions on how the current national conversion is being interpreted locally throughout the villages.
“This morning I held a meeting with Kigathe Kionywe from Kiambu County. Mr Kigathe is a distinguished businessman who is involved in supporting various social activities especially in Kikuyu Constituency. It was therefore quite interesting to hear his views of how the current national conversion is being interpreted at local level across the villages. The consultations continue.” Rigathi Gachagua says
