Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is counting on public support to save his skin, as MPs intend to file an impeachment motion against him in the National Assembly at any time.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua stated yesterday, during an interview with radio and TV stations from Mount Kenya, that removing a deputy President elected by Kenyans is a difficult task. He claimed that MPs did not participate in public, and that those who are against him are from the Mt Kenya region and have been discussing his impeachment in other parts of the country rather than in Mt Kenya.

“Gachagua is not going anywhere; he will remain the DP of the Republic of Kenya until 2027.” Jane Wambui said.

“As simple as taking an oath, the constitution is the people, and the people are the constitution; Article 210 is sufficient.” Paul Rugut said.

“It’s interesting to see how the court is handling this situation. The political landscape continues to shift, and this decision could have significant implications for both Cleophas Malalah and DP Rigathi Gachagua. It will be important to watch how this unfolds moving forward!” Kasachei said.

“Is only mk who are behind Gachagwa. The rest of us support his impeachment. We elected him to investigate our grievances as a whole Kenyan, but he betrayed us by being a mkDP.” Boaz Morty said.

“I believe that prisoners should be allowed to watch Manchester United matches as part of their punishment on weekends. Kaka Danson said.

“Ruto needs someone who can give him a headache, not the praise and worship team.” Lewwie Herman said.

“Kenyans who elected Ruto and Gachagua should be given the opportunity to participate in the impeachment motion.” Wuod Kanyadier said.

“Please allow my DP to complete his term in peace; riggy was elected by the people. The power belongs to the people. He dislikes those who do not come from the mountains. What wrong has he done?” Benson Omollo said.
