Retired army officers appeals to Azimio leader Raila Odinga to reconsider his stance on Monday’s planned mass action.
Under the umbrella of ‘The Kenya Veterans for Peace,’ the former army officers says Raila and his supporters should consider other avenues of airing their grievances.
Their Executive chairman Robert Mbukua says the planned mass action might end up doing more harm than good to a country whose economy is reeling from the effects of Koronah.
The former army officers, however, concurs that the cost of living has gone up and life is unbearable for most Kenyans but points out that the voice of reason must prevail to ensure no further damage is caused to the fragile economy.
This has come just few hours to the big day of Azimio La Umoja one coalition party supporters. Despite that, it is now time for leaders to speak on one word so that to save our country. Let us maintain peace among each other during this time.
