Several days after Rigathi Gachagua was removed as deputy president, there have been allegations that the country’s president, Dr. William Samoe Ruto, is reportedly planning to reorganize the government by making some changes to his cabinet tonight evening.

The head of state plans to cut the number of main secretaries to less than 40, according to one reliable source. The president is anticipated to combine various government agencies in order to reduce the number of senior secretaries. Ruto will also name the cabinet secretary for national coordination and internal security in light of these reforms.

According to reports, influential politicians are presently vying for the internal security position. Western leaders reportedly want Musalia Mudavadi to be assigned to this case. However, Dr. Raymond Omollo is putting up a strong battle to succeed Kindiki or at the very least hold onto his position as principal secretary of national coordination and internal security.
