As per the latest updates reaching us this hour, it has been revealed that the US dollar that is being used to purchase oil has started weakening against Kenyan shillings. Further, it has been revealed that the global oil market has reduced the price of oil, and this might also force the government to reduce the price of fuel, which is currently sold above Ksh 200 depending on the region. Also, it has been revealed that Israel’s ceasefire with Hamas brings good news not only to Kenyans but also to most parts of the world, as most of the countries have been using the same route from the Middle East in transporting fuel.
This just came in after Kenyans have been asking the government to reduce the cost of living, especially the cost of essential commodities including sugar, cooking oil, and petrol. Let us hope that the government will reduce the fuel in this month’s review.
