CS Nominee, Aden Duale lives like a lord. Known for being outspoken and brush, Duale owns a house along the posh Kiambu road neighborhood.A photo of the house was taken by one of his guests who later posted it online- sending the rumor mills spinning out of control.

Despite the loud political showmanship that he is best known for, Duale has proven that he is a man of means.

Apart from the house on Kiambu road, Duale owns in Garissa town, a palace that defies explanation.

A towering, shimmering spectacle that looks every bit like the money it cost.Elsewhere in Eastleigh, Duale also owns a hotel- the popular one is called the Nomad palace in Easteigh. The sister franchise is in Garissa and is a favorite of the Somali community.

The CS nominee Aden Duale declared his net worth at Ksh.851 million, amassing his wealth from his assets and annual income.

He listed assets such as owning 231 camels in Kitui County, sheep and also earns Ksh.10 million annual income mainly comprising rentals.

Aden Duale, who is appearing for a second time as a nominee for the Cabinet Secretary position. Last week, President William Ruto reshuffled his list of Cabinet nominees, leading to a significant change:Duale has been reassigned from the Defence docket to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry. This position was previously held by former CS Soipan Tuya.

The unexpected shake-up was announced to Parliament on Tuesday by Speaker Wetangula.

In the new arrangement, Soipan Tuya will now take over the Defence Ministry, a role Duale previously occupied from October 31, 2022, until his dismissal on July 11, 2024.

Duale was reinstated on July 19, 2024, marking a turbulent period in his political career.
