Kahush, the last-born son of the newly appointed Cabinet Secretary, has gained significant attention on the internet, especially during the quarantine period.
While his father was busy keeping the nation informed on the COVID-19 situation, Kahush was building his musical career.
The young artist has released several hits, collaborating with big names in the Kenyan music scene, including Chris Kaiga, Muthoni Drummer Queen, Mayonde, and Fena Gitu.
Many were unaware of his familial connection to Kagwe until the CS revealed in an interview that his family supports his talent.In the same interview, Mutahi Kagwe shared his perspective on parenting, emphasizing that he has allowed his children to pursue their own paths.
“After the age of 21, you are an adult and you carve your own path, using the talents God has given you,” he said, reflecting on his own journey of self-discovery and independence.
Speaking during the event, Ruto expressed confidence in the appointees, citing their extensive experience in various facets of public service.
“Without exception, all three of the new cabinet secretaries have extensive and diverse experience in both the executive and legislative facets of the public service. For this reason, I am confident in the skills and capabilities they bring to their roles,” he noted.
