The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has noe been reported to be out of the country. According to his Azimio La Umoja confidant professor Makau Mutua, the ODM boss is currently in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.
Mutua, who had accompanied Mr Odinga to Brazzaville informed that Raila in the country to seek a vote from the nation’s top leadership in his quest for the African Union Commission Chairmanship.
Raila who has since shifted his attention from local politics to the international stage has been moving from country to country, meeting with high-level ambassadors and commissioners to clear his way for the top position.
Mr Odinga was spotted at a high-end hotel or rather restaurant alongside a dozen of delegates enjoying meals of different delicacies.
Barely two days ago, Raila was in President Ruto’s Rift Valley backyard for a burial event. Meanwhile, Raila appears to be among the favourite aspirants for the AUC position having received major endorsements from different Presidents.
