Raila Odinga’s ally and Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has dared William Ruto’s government following the plan to sell Kenyatta International Convention Center, KICC.
This comes as the government announced to sell some of his properties including Kenyatta International Convention Center, National Oil, KLB, Kenya Seed among others in a bid of transferring the ownership.
However, criticizing President William Ruto’s government’s move. Robert Alai allies to Opposition chief Raila Odinga has dared the government, raising a question whether there are plans to change the currency.
According to Robert Alai, KICC appear in all the notes shillings and now that the government has the palm to sell KICC to be a private entity, Alai has raise the concern whether that change will as well affect the Kenyan currency.
“When they eventually sell KICC, do we change our currency or they will have the image of a private property?,” Raila Odinga’s ally and Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai asked
The currency was changed recently in the previous government that took a new look and form compared to the original one.
