Raila Odinga who is the former prime minister and the leader of Azimio LA umoja allies today tweeted on his twitter page that The proposed Finance Bill by the Kenya Kwanza Regime is a punishing burden on Kenyans. The tsunami of taxes will suffocate the jobless youth and the poor. We strongly oppose this anti-people budget and will ensure it doesn’t pass. If it does, we disassociate ourselves from it.
In this, we are together! Taxes are weakening the Economy! Kenya isn’t POOR! If Egypt can generate its Revenues without “tsunami” of Taxes, then Kenya should learn! The Govt need to focus on Increasing Exports thro’ other Agricultural and Industrial Sectors of the Economy!
How I wish you’d seat back and watch as the self proclaimed hurstler bring down the people who promised to bring up once he secured the presidency, factions of Kenyans are not worth fighting for hold on your political horse baba. You’ve done us enough sacrifice!
Sit down, prepare a ‘people budget’. Share insights, there’s public participation too if am not wrong. You can’t always be against everything if you can’t opinion on what can be done. Provide alternatives.
