Rachel Otuoma, the widow of the late Ezekiel Otuoma, has shared her emotional decision to move out of the three-bedroom house she once shared with her husband. In a heartfelt TikTok live stream, Rachel explained how living alone in the large home had become emotionally overwhelming, prompting her to downsize to a smaller space.

“I can’t stay in the house alone. It’s too big for me,” Rachel expressed, revealing that the house was filled with memories that made it difficult to live in after her husband’s passing. The emotional weight of the space made her realize it was time to create new memories in a fresh environment.

Rachel also revealed plans to redecorate her new home, with new furniture on the way. She promised to share the transformation with her fans through live streams. “I’ll be doing a live stream when I get the furniture on Friday or Saturday,” she said, excited to show her followers her new start.

Despite the sadness of leaving behind the home that had been provided by a Zimbabwean family, Rachel expressed gratitude to her landlady for being understanding and supportive of her decision. “She didn’t want me to go, but she understood,” Rachel shared.

In a poignant moment during the live stream, Rachel displayed her wedding rings, which she promised never to remove after Ezekiel’s death. “These rings will never come off. He will always be in my heart,” she said, reflecting on the love and respect she shared with her late husband.

Her fans have rallied around her decision, understanding the significance of moving forward while honoring her husband’s memory. Many expressed their support, acknowledging the strength it takes to make such a life changing decision.
