Milimani High Court on Tuesday, May 28, was asked by the prosecution to hand the maximum sentence to six people who were found guilty of killing former Juja Member of Parliament George Thuo.
The deceased, George Thuo met his untimely death in 2013 moments after visiting a popular restaurant in Thika Town, Kiambu County.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) convinced the High Court beyond any reasonable doubt that the MP died after being poisoned using Cyhalothrine Pesticide by suspects, they worked together to kill the deceased.
While reacting to this case, Kenyans on social media platforms have sent their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased who was killed several years ago and an incident that caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to call for action
Sources have revealed that the Convicts were arrested by Police officers who went in search for the suspects who were involved in the murder of the renowned politician.
