A pro-Uhuru Kenyatta NIS official has dared ex-Mungiki leader Maina Njenga to reveal who he met for four days when he was allegedly kidnapped in September 2023, as it emerges how top Kenya Kwanza government officials have been funding Maina Njenga’s rallies in Mt Kenya to create a false perception of the resurrected Mungiki sect and later blame Uhuru, who was expected to attend the much-hyped Kabiruini rally that was postponed after Uhuru got wind of the plot.
According to Taifa Leo Newspaper, we were informed that the second phase of the scheme was to help Mr Njenga organize public meetings and claim that Uhuru was supporting him and there was already a plan to install him (Njenga) as the spokesperson of the Mt Kenya communities.
“Go and tell Njenga to open his heart and speak openly about the incident of September 15, 2023, where he claimed he was kidnapped in Kiambu town and then released after four days. Ask him where he was, who he met, what they planned and finally he started to appear seeking reconciliation with President William Ruto’s government but increasing his plots to say he was a contender for the spokesperson of Mt Kenya backed by Uhuru,” the NIS official said.
