Taking on his X account, the head of state, William Ruto, informed Kenyans that it is a moment that he had waited for a long period, whereby the upcoming deal will make Kenya as a country achieve.
In a statement he made, Ruto emphasized that as the president of the people, his pact is to ensure all people are forming one unity, and that is the justification for why he decided to share powers with the former prime minister, Raila Odinga.
Ruto was making the statement after holding a crucial meeting at the state house with some of the lawmakers. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss where the Azimio chief, Raila Odinga, will administer.
However, President William Ruto is expected to sign a ‘nusu mkate’ deal with Raila Odinga today at the KICC. Sources have reported that millions of Kenyans have already gathered outside the KICC waiting for the two leaders to make an announcement about their deal.
