According to recent news, the head of state has shook up the armed forces by making significant appointments, postings, and promotions on the recommendation of the Defense Council, which is presided over by Cabinet Secretary for Defense Aden Duale.
Major General and newly appointed managing director of Kenya Ordinance Factories Corporation is Brigadier Dennis Nyagah Njue Kamuri. Major General Mohamed Nur Hassan was named General Officer Commanding Border Security Command after being promoted from Brigadier.
Brigadier Sylvester Kipkorir Chirchir was once a Colonel and was now the Directorate of National Security Industries’ Deputy Director.
Brigadier Mathew Liileta Lenamunai was given a promotion and given the responsibility of leading the Kahawa Garrison.
