Some few minutes ago, reports emerged that the president of this country, Dr William Samoe Ruto has come out to announce the removal of some taxes which have been existing for several years.
As reported by the TV 47, president William Ruto has announced that his goverment has now removed all taxes on tge manufacturing of animal and human vaccines. “We have removed taxes and other requirements on manufacturing of animal and human vaccines” Said President William Ruto. He is currently attending The Africa 2023 Manufacturing Expo, KICC, Nairobi County together with the minister of health hon Susan Nakhumicha and other top officials from the ministry of health.
This move by Ruto to remove these taxes will now see the cost of human and animal vaccines coming down. This move is being made so as to encourage the manufacturing of vaccines in the republic of Kenya. Other taxes that the government is planning to remove is that of cooking gas and cylinders.
