The fact that KUCCPS has not yet launched their portals for applications and course revision has put the 2022 KCSE candidates in a difficult situation.

According to reports from KUCCPS, the procedure has been postponed while they wait for the government Education board to make certain changes. The government has at last revealed the names of the applicants who would be accepted into public universities located within Kenyan borders.

On April 25, 2023, the government announced that only students who received a C+ or higher will be admitted to institutions. This announcement was made by KUCCPS.According to the administration, all 170,000 students who received grades of C+ or higher would be assigned to various colleges across the nation.

Additionally, the government said that the 2022 KCSE cohorts with mean grades of C+ and above will have access to 194,000 spots in public universities. The administration explained that even when there is a delay in acceptance, applicants will still receive their admission letters on schedule.
