President William Ruto has opted to take the bull by its horns in a bid to tackle the security concerns that have long been a thorn in the flesh to the residents in the North Rift region of the country.

Speaking after receiving a brief on the state of security in the aforesaid region, President Ruto said that the government is employing new additional measures in handling incidents of cattle rustling and banditry.
Accordingly, the head of state said that the government is determined to restore order not only in the North Rift but all other parts of the country that have been witnessing disturbance of peace.
