Head of state President William Ruto is set to fly to Mt Kenya region tomorrow just few days after Raila’s rally in the same region.
According to the information that has been obtained by this opera journalist,the head of state is set to land in Meru County for the commissioning of the new dam in Buuru and a road in Igembe North.
The head of state will be hosted by Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza.
The visit by the President in the region also comes few days after he was in the same region but in Nyandarua County for the commissioning of various projects.
The visit by the president to the Mt. Kenya region comes only few days after Azimio la Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga toured Muranga County where he held a meeting at the Muranga Town Hall with the residents.
Raila team through former Muranga County Governor Mwangi Wa Iria seeks to penetrate through the Mt Kenya region and are considering taking the anti-Ruto rallies in the region.
