Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has finally cracked the whip on senior Government employees in Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi’s Agriculture Ministry.
Addressing via a statement dated today the 25st day of May 2024, Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has announced the strategic sacking of the Kenya Cereals Board Managing Director and all members of the board with immediate effect.
Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has intimated that the eminent sacking of the Managing Director and board members follows their connection to the Fake Fertilizer scandal thag hit the Agriculture Ministry which is currently under the stewardship of Mithika Linturi.
Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has intimated that the now sacked Managing Director and his team will face prosecution for their alleged involvement in the Fake Fertilizer scandal.
The President further delivered good news to all farmers who bought the fake fertilizers, articulating that the Government would compensate them by giving them equivalent fertilizer free of charge.
