Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has today expressed his regrets on the skyrocketing cases of corruption currently facing his administration.
Addressing via a statement dated today the 16th day of November 2023, Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has divulged that he “deeply regrets” the exponential increase in the corruption challenge facing his administration especially the public service.
“In addition to raising the price of products and services, corruption frequently makes it easier for money laundering to take place.” Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto divulged.
Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has articulated that corruption has negatively impacted the delivery of goods and services to the Kenyan citizens due to the predominant lose of funds from the public coffers attributed to the corruption menace.
Giving a glimpse of his strategic move in curtailing the skyrocketing cases of corruption in the Government, Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto divulged that his administration has to a large extend hastened the appropriation of property as well as funds acquired through the heinous acts of corruption.
In addition, the Head of State articulated that he is working hand in hand with the judiciary to ensure that all cases of corruption currently pending at the courts of law are heard and determined in order to guarantee dissemination of justice in a timely manner.
