While addressing hundreds of residents who had turned out in large numbers to grace an impromptu stopover in Mikinduri, Meru County. President William Ruto lost his cool and lectured a section of agitated youths in the crowd who allegedly disrupted his speech.

When a group of youths begin shouting and heckling disrupting his speech. In a quick rejoinder, the Head of State did not waver he turned to them instructing them to shut up and listen to him. Below is the Facebook excerpt:

Ruto affirmed that in his regime. He will not sit and watch a section of leaders and youths try to play divisive politics. He said that all leaders elected should be given time to work and should locals feel dissatisfied with leaders they have a right to remove them from office during the electioneering period by voting for new leaders.

Ruto criticized the youth telling them that the UDA party does not play partisan to violence and protests, unlike other rival parties like Azimio.
